Time Magazine recently did an article on the All-Time 100 Greatest Toys. And the Wiffle Ball made the list, can you believe it? Nice to see that the game is getting the credit it deserves among the millions of toys invented. On a more mature not - Wired magazine had a recent article on Jenn Rossmann (a mechanical engineer from Lafayette College) attempting to explain why the wiffleball moves the way it does. Her and her students have built a "wiffle-ology lab" and have searched for the answers pertaining to the movement of the Wiffle Ball. Both articles are good reads and worth your time.
