Insane Pitching in Southeast MI and OB Wiffle Marches On

Oyster Bay Wiffleball League continues to show up and play games. The backstop/strikezone they've added is a true obstruction when trying to view their videos but the convenience that must serve makes it indispensable, I'm sure. Their videos are still fun to watch if you can get used to watching it through the backstop. Wiffle in Southeast Michigan is still bringing the noise this season as Belgian Wiffles faced Git r' Done. I never realized how fierce the pitching is in their league. I've never seen so many risers thrown in one video. Belgian Wiffles only won 1 of their 4 games in the series making them one of the worst teams in the league. But their name is still the best in their league. That should count for something. The name alone makes me want them to win games.

  1. Oyster Bay video: I thought that dude was going to end up in the Bush after that head first slide into first base!

WSEM: WORST MUSIC EVER. I muted it, otherwise I could have choked myself!!!

  2. Thanks for the side-by-side video duel!

Brian, "worst" coming from someone who likes Tosh.0 translates as a compliment. So, thanks! :P
The on-field commentary was pretty quiet, so pretty much all you miss by muting is cursing and exasperation.

(Full disclosure: I hated the song when I first heard it. Get drunk to it. Twice.)

  3. That's funny, I thought the Oyster Bay video had worse music than the WSEM video.

  6. No doubt. If they keep it up they'll definitely be up there with Caputo Complex. Their videos need a little work though. That backstop is absolutely killing my focus on their playing...it interferes a lot. A quick change in camera angle could be a real game changer with this league's videos.
